I was born in London in 1975. My parents moved to Osaka, Japan, in 1977, then back to the UK in 1986 . My Japanese-born grandfather (born 20th January 1920) was a decoder at Bletchley Park and her parents were in the RAF.
I joined Torchwood when saved from life imprisonment by Captain Jack Harkness. (Owen thinks he's gay, but I don't agree)
Torchwood is a secret agency outside the goverment and beyond the law. We fight aliens and gather up alien tech that falls through a rift in time in the center of Cardif to arm the human race for the future. (Jack says the 21st century is when it all changes here on earth, but never tells us how he knows that, he never tells us anything really)
I'm the Technical Brains of the Torchwood team.
And I'm secretly in love with Owen Harper the Team Medic.
I've never exactly been lucky in love, my past relationships include a 19th century soldier frozen in time who I spent one day with a year and a psycotic female alien.
